Blind Contour Drawing
Blind contour drawing is an excellent way to train the eye to draw what it really sees rather than what it thinks it sees. This is a great exercise to practice looking closely instead of making assumptions. Students will pick an object to draw and draw that object on their paper without lifting their pencil or looking at the drawing.
