Hands and Patterns (Working Together)
In this activity we trace overlapping hands and use three different patterns to fill in the shapes they create. A pattern is a series of lines or shapes that repeat. We can show ourselves in many different ways, and self portraits can be abstract. In this activity, the lines we choose show a little bit of what makes us unique. You can also paint your shapes in this lesson: how many shades of brown can you make?
